Had lunch at the restaurant with my son. Home made and delicious food. Big home made chips! Great portion sizes. Kids meal was ok.
Staff were generally ok, however the premises could do with an upgrade, outside front reception door wouldn't stay closed, general layout in reception not speaking. Dining room draughty and cool. On arrival on Friday, only good available was tea / coffee and scones. Various rooms had problems with electrics and plumbing not working correctly. Cheese cake on Saturday night meal was frozen; otherwise the meal was fine and eatable.
A good quality hotel in a great location , bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and in the morning theres a hearty breakfast on offer. There is a reasonable menu for evening meals and the food is well presented
3rd time staying the weekend and have not a single complaint yet.. Breakfast is 10/10.. Rooms very clean and spacious
Good staff really friendly nice room s an nice an quiet . Staff at breakfast next morning one young lad was very helpful indeed my partner does not drink tea or coffee and this young lad went out of his way to make her a bit chocolate even though it was not on menu.. we will definitely be back for several more stay here ...
