Very friendly owners and staff but the standard is not great. Food ok room ok but no cleaning service while we were there. Stayed 2 nights but no cleaning during our stay.

Great location, nice room with a great view & great breakfast. Plus they have hotel style bathroom supplies! Why four stars? A) They have a bit of a sound proofing issue, you can hear footsteps loudly and conversations from other rooms... When you walk, floor boards creek. It's romantic when your the source of noise, it's not when your trying to sleep. B) There's a sort of family room close to the top of the B&B, therefore it can get noisy. We were unlucky enough to get a family with difficult children... It was noisy, breakfast was so full of screams and yelling (parents and children) it really put us off. We complained but nothing was done to try and make it a space in which we could all enjoy breakfast. It's beyond empathy when the parents become rude and they have no control over their kids..... Also, some goes on the B&B for accomodating family groups without the right facilities and they dealt poorly with the complaint as in "nothing was done" . C) It can be rather impersonal, it's got a "reception" - not very B&B like- , you meet staff rather than owners and experience can be rather hotel like.....
