Lovely old building on Causeway Street which houses quite a decent range of books and newspapers. There are about 10 computers which people can use, free if you're a member. Given recent cutbacks the library is now closed on a Thursday but better that than full closure. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and will willingly order books from other branches. On Wednesday mornings they provide free tea/coffee and biscuits. They accommodate various groups and clubs from nursery school children to the Portrush Historical Society and a knitting group. They also have a comprehensive supply of informative leaflets to promote local activities, events, clubs and places to see. Always enjoy my visit there and would hate to lose the library - it's a great asset to the town.
